Get to know EMC DZ

At EMC D&Z, our work is rooted in our four foundational values – safety, diversity, integrity and success— and grounded by our promise, “We do what we say.®” They serve as a steady guide for the company as we continually take on new challenges, new responsibilities and new roles.

To us, these values are more than words. We live them every day. Check out our employee spotlight, featuring Tim Jeffrey, who shared with us what integrity means to him!

Keep an eye out next week for our next employee spotlight.

When did you join EMC? I joined EMC back in summer of 2015. During my time here I have held several positions; I started as a Pipefitter Foreman and have also worked as a Mechanical Assessor, Multi Trade General Foreman, Bruce B Construction Manager and most recently Mechanical Construction Manager for site. All positions have taught me lessons some being tough, and some very rewarding. Each day on site poses new challenges and look forward to meeting them.

What does integrity mean to you? From a personal and professional perspective having integrity means being not only a good person at work but outside of the workplace. Our values and the way we carry ourselves, can have a positive impact on family/friends/co-workers if we put in the time.

How do you practice integrity every day? I practice integrity each day by utilizing core values such as being on time, working hard, being prepared, being a good listener and ensuring I convey positive energy.

How do you observe integrity across EMC D&Z? I observe integrity in my everyday interactions. The most effective way to practice and to observe integrity is to ensure you check-in with others; not only with fellow co-workers in the office, but most importantly in the field. This is something I strive to make time for each day. Our core values, including integrity, are also demonstrated and reinforced by our team daily.
