EMC Embarks on a New Initiative Program

On February 16th EMC embarked on a new initiative program, funded by Bruce Power, that introduced four indigenous students to a six-week skills ready program within the nuclear industry. EMC and ES Fox compiled, implemented, and executed a unique mentoring experience that allowed students to job shadow with various office and union representatives within the industry. Getting to experience a ‘day-in-the-life’ of workers provided students the ability to determine areas of interest to further pursue career aspirations. EMC is dedicated to ensuring a diverse workplace and working with industry partners on initiatives to further develop, improve, and employ local potential within our communities.
