3rd Annual EMC Golf Tournament
On July 5th, 2019, EMC hosted its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, in support of the CMHA Grey Bruce. Through our event, we successfully raised upwards of $3,500. The funds raised will be kept in our community to support Kincardine schools FAN Club, and Let's Talk mental health awareness and education programs.
The Grey Bruce Friends and Neighbour’s (FAN) Club program is a mental health awareness program for children ages 5 to 11 using puppets to talk about social issues affecting them – self-esteem, managing anger, managing feelings, peer pressure, dealing with bullies, differences and the importance of disclosure.
Let’s Talk – Is an in-classroom wellness presentation for Grades 6 to 8 that covers the following mental health and wellness topics - mental health, healthy relationships, the media, physical health, healthy eating, coping strategies, and goal setting.
