Summary

EMC is seeking a qualified Receiving and Logistics Coordinator, who will report to the Quality Control Manager. Works under general supervision performing material handling activities. Receives materials as they are unloaded and coordinates delivery of parts between various destinations as assigned. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely and accurate transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains records essential for controlled material processing.
  • Performs material handling receipt activities in EMC’s warehouse
  • Utilized EMC Measuring and Test Equipment for receiving activities where required
  • Receives shipments from suppliers/customers and executes quality inspection
  • Performs source surveillance verifications at sub-supplies facilities
  • Prepares and maintains records essential for controlled material processing.
  • Prepares or receives appropriate pick-up or delivery EMC documentation.
  • Maintains database information, records and filing systems (paper and electronic) for incoming receipted materials or warehoused items
  • To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma at minimum plus 2 years of experience in a related area.
  • Diploma or Degree from a respectable institute within a related field of study is preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly
  • Basic comprehension of nuclear power plant systems, components and interrelated activities.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 30 lbs.
  • Fundamental working knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
